With great excitement, DERBYSTAR presents the new official match
ball for the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga for the 2025/26 season. The new
Bundesliga Brillant APS blends classic elements with a bold, fresh look.
The design makes a visual statement: The signature colored
pentagons are reminiscent of classic ball patterns from previous years, but in
the 2025/26 version, dynamic color accents deliberately break with traditional
conventions. Muted blue and red tones in a “sprinkle style” create a youthful
appearance. Despite the dynamic color arrangement, the overall look remains
harmonious.
Another distinctive feature: For the first time, the iconic
“Player” from the Bundesliga logo is prominently featured on both sides of the
ball, once again making the DERBYSTAR Brillant APS a symbol of top-tier German
football.

Manufacture: Hand-sewn for extra flexibility and durable seams.
Material: Dull high-tech PU microfiber in outstanding quality with a diamond structure on the entire material surface. The gluing of the outer material is made from 100% recycled polyester.
Bladder: Zero-wing bladder made of natural latex for an optimal round shape and lively bounce.
Features: Extremely soft ball contact. Precise flight behavior and lively jumping behavior. Optimal, sustainable roundness and particularly hard-wearing.
